Local Pay Rate: $65/hour ($1462.50 weekly)
Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking CT Technologistfor an exciting job in New York NY.
Qualifications:
Active New York State License (L.R.T.) in Radiologic Technology.
ARRT certification in Radiography and CT.
BLS certification (current).
Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
Responsibilities:
Perform CT imaging procedures using appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on all CT equipment.
Administer contrast or radioactive materials as prescribed by physicians following proper safety protocols.
Complete all required documentation logs and reports to comply with departmental and regulatory standards.
Follow radiation safety procedures in accordance with ALARA principles.
Maintain accurate patient records and prepare images for radiologist interpretation.
Order and verify radiopharmaceutical doses as required.
Report any equipment malfunctions promptly to ensure minimal downtime.
