Job Summary
How will you make an impact
As a Machine Operator at our San Jose CA facility you will be responsible for setting up and operating the automatic wave solder machine to ensure high-quality soldering of printed circuit boards (PCBs). Your role is essential in maintaining equipment monitoring soldering processes and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence will directly support the production of reliable electronic assemblies.

What will you do
- Set up and operate the automatic wave solder machine for PCB assemblies.
- Operate and maintain the foam fluxer using a hydrometer to ensure proper specific gravity and resin ratio.
- Add and refill bar solder flux and alcohol as needed.
- Clean and adjust the flux density controller (FDC) and fluxer.
- Monitor boards for soldering defects and ensure proper component seating and solder quality.
- Dross the solder pot daily to remove impurities and perform routine maintenance.
- Drain and clean the flux system weekly.
- Maintain accurate inventory of chemical and solder usage.
- Keep the assigned work area clean and organized.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations and company policies.
- Comply with all procedures within the company security policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
