In your internship at a globally leading medical technology company youll be right in the middle of the action: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic student to join our R&D team focusing on software development for advanced navigation in orthopaedic this role youll have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a cutting-edge solution for computer-assisted surgery that can have a significant impact on patient outcomes.

• You will perform problem solving identify potential solutions and evaluate them.

• Implement software components in C/Qt on a Linux platform.

• You will work in a multidisciplinary team of software engineers and domain experts.

• Evaluate the performance of developed algorithms using appropriate metrics.

• Play an active role in the development of next-generation orthopedic surgical systems that improve patient outcomes and save lives.

• Document and present research findings algorithms and results in reports.

That makes you stand out:

• You are currently enrolled in a masters programme in computer science biomedical engineering or a related field.

• You have experience in object-oriented programming (C/Java etc.) and a strong interest in developing high-performance software.

• You have a background in computer vision image processing and/or machine learning.

• Familiarity with medical imaging (CT MRI) and segmentation techniques is a plus.

• You have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• You have good communication and documentation skills in English.

Duration of your internship: 6 months (full-time)
