Were looking for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Energy team in the Philippines and help us reimagine engineering for the future.

In this position you will join our Energy team where you will play an integral part in a highly skilled group that brings ideas to life for our clients across power generation transmission and distribution projects. As a Graduate Engineer in Power Transmission & Distribution you will be mentored by highly qualified professionals contribute to transformative renewable energy and power projects and grow your expertise in delivering sustainable solutions for a better future.

As a Graduate Engineer in Power Transmission & Distributions you will:

• Work on some of the largest Energy infrastructure projects across Australia

• Perform high voltage electrical calculations and studies

• Develop skills working in industry recognised Transmission and Distribution system modelling software

• Collaborate with and learn from industry leading engineers in Transmission and Distribution

• Contribute to Aurecons commitment to sustainability and innovation in every project.

What can you bring to the team

Firstly you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

Experience & Expertise (Required)

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field with strong focus on electrical physics magnetism power transmission and HV systems).
• Strong passion for Power Transmission & Distributions renewable energy and transmission/distribution networks.
• Strong academic grounding in the physics of electricity (e.g. electromagnetics circuits transmission lines transformers).
• Analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.

Experience & Expertise (Good to Have)

• Graduate of a university program with specialization in Power Transmission & Distributions.

• Internship thesis or project experience in renewable energy HV systems or transmission/distribution design.

• Exposure to civil or structural aspects of transmission projects (e.g. foundations line routing) with a strong interest in electrical engineering (benchmark: candidates like Jenina).

• Familiarity with sustainability frameworks or renewable integration studies.

• Familiarity with tools such as PSCAD and PSSE
