Were seeking a proactive and highly organized Security Project Coordinator to assist in the planning execution and delivery of security-related projects and programs. This role acts as a vital link between project managers technical teams and key stakeholdersensuring that all security initiatives are completed on time within scope and aligned with ABMs strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track progress of various different security projects and initiatives.
- Assist in defining project scope goals deliverables timelines and resource requirements.
- Maintain project plans schedules and dashboards to provide accurate status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams vendors and external partners to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project tasks.
- Support documentation development including project charters meeting minutes deviations and status reports.
- Monitor and report on project risks issues and dependencies escalating when needed.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security standards regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Support audit readiness by maintaining proper records and project documentation.
- Contribute to process improvements and standardization of security project workflows. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business Administration Project Management Information Security or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years of experience in project coordination preferably within security facilities IT or compliance environments.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall or hybrid).
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. MS Project Smartsheet Jira Asana Trello).
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to shifting timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in security project management (physical security access control surveillance systems cybersecurity or compliance programs).
- Understanding of security frameworks such as NIST ISO 27001 or SOC 2.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) CAPM or similar certification.
- Experience coordinating with vendors and contractors in security or technology deployments
Pay: $118000.00 - $128000.00
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicants education experience skills abilities geographic location and alignment with market data.
