About the Role
Are you a dynamic insurance professional with a passion for leadership mentorship and driving sales success Were seeking a Manager Commercial Lines Sales to play a pivotal role in enabling growth and excellence within our commercial lines team.
Reporting to the VP Commercial Sales youll focus on sales enablement technical education mentorship and cross-functional collaborationensuring our producers are equipped to deliver exceptional results both in the field and in the office. Youll help strengthen our unique sales approach foster professional development and champion a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Coaching & Mentorship
Provide individualized coaching to Commercial Lines Sales Brokers both in-office and in the field.
Facilitate technical and sales skill development through structured training and feedback.
Conduct regular performance reviews to identify growth opportunities and guide improvement.
Reinforcing Our Unique Sales Approach
Deliver comprehensive training on our established sales methodology.
Ensure consistent application of the sales process across all client interactions.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and best practices in client engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a liaison between the sales and brokering teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
Partner with internal stakeholderssuch as marketing employee benefits claims and risk managementto support cross-selling opportunities and holistic client solutions.
Sales Strategy & Performance Development
Track analyze and report on sales activities and performance metrics to support strategic goals.
Identify knowledge and skill gaps and coordinate targeted training initiatives.
Collaborate with leadership to refine sales strategies that enhance productivity and growth.
B2B Sales Execution
What Youll Bring
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial insurance with a proven ability to mentor and lead.
RIBO license required; CIP or CRM designation considered an asset.
In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance markets coverage options and placement strategies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire and guide others.
Demonstrated success in coaching teams through structured sales processes.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments.
