Principle Responsibilities

Skilled in general mechanical abilities. Must be able to read blueprints; layout to tight tolerances. Must be able to weld 6G and pass an Xray quality
proficiency test.

Standard Duties
Using arc welders gas welders and gas torches welds together metal components and alloys such as pipelines boilers for a variety of complex
precision assemblies. Involves a considerable amount of welding to high strength and pressure requirements. Joins together components of
fabricated sheet metal assemblies; cut trim or scarf metal objects to dimensions as specified by layout work orders or blueprints.

Requirements
High school degree or equivalent education/experience plus three years trade related experience preferred. Certification required.
Capabilities
Ability to read and interpret blueprints manuals.
Physical Requirements
Standing bending stooping lifting up to 70 lbs.
Equipment to be Used
Arc welders gas welders gas torches.
