20 hours/week. 8am-4:30pm.
Performs research experiments in accordance with provisions of the approved protocol maintains records prepares reports and publications and assists in analyzing data.
Essential Functions:
- Performs semi-independent research experiments reliably and reproducibly in accordance with protocols approved by the principal investigator.
- Collects and curates experimental data maintains accurate daily logs of experiments including methods and results and draws preliminary conclusions.
- Assists the principal investigators in the preparation of scientific publications grant proposals and presentations.
- Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies and ensures that research equipment is in good working order.
- Follows all appropriate lab safety protocols and other regulatory requirements.
Education Requirement:
Bachelors Degree in relevant field required.
Experience:
Research experience preferred.
