Cloud Engineer

What success looks like in this role:

Design and implement cloud computing solutions using AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.

Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure ensuring high availability and performance.

Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms.

Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure reliability and efficiency.

Implement security best practices and compliance measures in cloud environments.

Automate deployment and management processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

Provide support and guidance for cloud-related projects and initiatives.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 0-2 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

Experience in cloud engineering or related roles.

Strong understanding of cloud services and architectures (e.g. compute storage networking).

Proficiency in scripting languages (Python Bash etc.) and automation tools.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Familiarity with container orchestration (Docker Kubernetes) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Cloud certification (AWS Practitioner Azure Admin etc.).

Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.

Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
