Job Summary
Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Tele-Radiology
Join our dedicated team providing exceptional tele-radiology services at a well-respected facility in Statesville North Carolina. We are seeking a skilled physician to provide remote coverage for Iredell Memorial Hospital and additional locations helping deliver quality patient care. As you settle into this role youll enjoy the flexibility of remote work while contributing to a high-volume environment that supports emergency and specialized radiological services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tele-radiology services remotely for Iredell Memorial Hospital and additional assigned locations.
- Read and interpret various modalities including XR CT MR US and NM.
- Handle high-volume emergency department cases with a case mix of 80% ER and 20% MSK.
- Achieve daily volume expectations of 90-100 cases per 8-hour shift.
- Participate in coverage for stroke/perfusion as needed.
- Coordinate with multiple facilities to ensure comprehensive radiology services.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Radiology (REQUIRED).
- Active North Carolina medical license (REQUIRED).
- Current DEA Registration (REQUIRED).
- Ability to note shift preferences clearly in application (REQUIRED).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Radiology.
- Active medical license in North Carolina.
- DEA Registration.
