Job Summary

Locum Physician - Radiology - Telecommute

Join a dedicated team providing vital tele-radiology coverage for a facility in Statesville NC. This position offers an opportunity to work remotely while serving patients at Iredell Memorial Hospital and associated locations. The hospital settings provide a diverse case mix and a collaborative atmosphere to enhance patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide tele-radiology services for multiple facilities including positive patient interactions and timely reporting.
Read and interpret various imaging modalities including X-rays CT MRI Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine.
Handle a high volume of emergency department cases with an expected daily volume of 90-100 cases.
Work with a case mix predominantly focused on emergency room needs (80%) and musculoskeletal cases (20%).
Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding patient diagnoses and treatment recommendations.

Qualifications:

Board Certification in Radiology - Required
Active North Carolina Medical License - Required
DEA Registration - Required
Ability to note shift preferences and adaptability to various shift schedules.

License and Certification Requirements:

Current board certification in Radiology.
Active NC medical license.
Current DEA registration.
