Job Summary
The Carolyn Rowan Center for Womens Health and Wellness is planning to open in Carolyn Rowan Center will elevate womens health care to a level of luxury by bringing together womens health services at a single locationa design element that will be central to ensuring women receive care and attention of the highest quality. Located at 1427 Madison Ave the Carolyn Rowan Center will offer multidisciplinaryhealth services and anchor additional womens health services provided across the Mount Sinai Health System. Tying it all together will be a team of dedicated patient navigators who will be available to help patients schedule appointments as well as manage coordination of care for those following more complex treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic radiologic services by operating imaging equipment operating other equipment/devices as appropriate positioning patients immobilizing patients as necessary calculating exposure factors practicing radiation protection evaluating radiographs for technical quality assuming care for physical and psychological needs of patients during examinations and procedures assisting physicians with imaging procedures.
- Maintains patients x-ray imaging and coping as requested.
- Performs clerical duties related to administrative activities of clinical x-ray area.
- Assumes full responsibility for assigned area.
- Assumes responsibility for x-ray portion of quality assurance and complies with all federal and state regulations and maintains daily equipment maintenance records.
- May assist in the scheduling of vacation time and appropriate coverage of area so clinical activity is not compromised.
- Pursues on-going continuing education opportunities.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved radiography program.
- 1 year minimum of experience taking radiographs is preferred.
- NYS Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
