Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Revenue Apprentice to join SPDJI Commercial Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting sales order review and approval process assisting in monthly close activities and revenue analytics and any ad-hoc requests. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who is eager to take on challenges and contribute to our teams success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn SPDJI Index Business
  • Assist in research and review details in sales order process to support revenue reporting and billing process
  • Assist in monthly close activities including support performing basic financial reconciliations under the guidance of the Senior Financial Analysts
  • Assist the Team with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from various stakeholders
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Learn to use and support the development and implementation of financial tools and dashboards.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to enhance financial operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field
  • Basic understanding of accounting and financial reporting
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Open-minded and willing to take on challenges and learn new skills.
  • Strong accountability Team oriented and exhibit strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data cleaning mining and analytics work
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with or exposure to Salesforce Alteryx Tableau or Anaplan
