Job Summary

Position Summary
Career Readiness Learning Objectives: Communication: The student worker will assist the Enrollment Management team and develop effective verbal and written communication skills. Teamwork: The student worker will function as a member of a team at the Childrens Museum. The student worker will collaborate with the full time staff to deliver programming and to keep the museum safe and clean. -This is an off-campus work-study position only eligible to students who have filed a FAFSA and have an unmet financial need. Student workers are considered employees of Gannon and are paid by the University. Support the members of the Enrollment Management team to support inquiries from incoming students and their families support the selection and admissions process and assist with communications to incoming students and their families. Summary of Essential Job Functions Support the communications strategy to welcome incoming students by drafting and sending emails responding to messages and answering phone calls. Support administrative tasks and logistics. Support the admissions processes. Provide administrative support including filing organizing and proper disposal of records and materials. Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Enrollment Management Requirements Ability to work independently or as part of a team Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities Good reading comprehension and communication skills Demonstrate good decision-making and creative problem-solving skills Interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships with other department staff students and family members

Physical Demands
Varies on the needs of the job site. Candidates should be prepared to stand for moderate periods of time.

Required Qualifications
Candidates for this position must qualify for Federal Work Study to be eligible. The Financial Aid Office will determine your eligibility when you apply for this job posting. Candidates must provide their transportation to/from the work site. Ability to pass the Penn State Police Criminal Record Child Abuse History and FBI fingerprint clearances. High school graduate or associates degree Possess a valid PA state drivers license Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and using databases
