Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Medical Assistantfor an exciting job in Glenwood Springs CO.

Responsibilities

Welcome room and prepare patients for exams and procedures
Record patient vitals medical histories and other clinical data
Perform phlebotomy venipuncture EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
Administer vaccines and assist with various clinical procedures
Handle front-office duties such as scheduling answering calls and managing patient check-in/out
Accurately document patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
Work closely with the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations and continuity of care
Support health education and wellness initiatives aligned with organizational goals

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant (beyond externship)
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
Occupational Health experience preferred
Proficiency in phlebotomy venipuncture and EMR systems required
Strong communication interpersonal and computer skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Valid BLS or CPR certification required

Core Skills
