In order to support our Cabin & Customization Design Automation Team in Hamburg Finkenwerder Airbus Germany is looking for you as our new
IT Solution Owner & Application Manager (d/f/m).
Your mission is to lead IT development projects based on ARAS Innovator supporting Cabin Customization Automation.
As the key focal point for our internal customers you will be responsible for providing seamless end-to-end (E2E) Cabin Engineering & Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Solutions.
Success in this role requires you to be a proactive inspirational team player who leverages strong interpersonal skills to effectively inspire convince others of your ideas and drive tasks to successful completion. You must be innovative communicate effectively and expertly manage critical IT projects.
Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.
Your tasks and responsibilities
Lead the Full Application Lifecycle: Drive the end-to-end (E2E) development maintenance and operational support (Run mode) for IT solutions mainly ARAS Applications.
Define Project and Delivery Strategy: Establish project structures to ensure features are delivered on time within budget and to quality.
Manage Requirements and Backlog: Own the Requirements Management process including organizing stakeholder workshops and controlling the project backlog.
Ensure Service Excellence: Develop and implement robust support strategies against agreed SLAs and occasionally lead L2/L3 support for complex incidents.
Monitor and Improve Performance: Evaluate IT solution effectiveness drive continuous improvement initiatives and make recommendations for long-term product viability.
Oversee Vendor Management: Manage a portfolio of 3-6 suppliers/subcontractors including contractual relationships to ensure delivery of expected business value.
Manage Stakeholders & Risk: Establish effective stakeholder networks provide mentoring to teams and proactively identify assess and mitigate risks and opportunities.
Desired skills and qualifications
Education: IT Engineering graduate or similar with a proven track record in managing agile software development.
Methodology Expertise: Expertise in IT Project Management across Agile Frameworks (SCRUM/SAFe) ITIL and Waterfall.
Business & Applications: Sound knowledge of business process analysis/optimization and experienced with both bespoke and COTS application management.
Technical Environment: Experience with PaaS technologie.
Language Skills: Fluent in English and German at negotiation level.
Optional Plus: Knowledge of DevOps tools databases (SQL/Oracle) modern IT architecture Cyber Security/Export Control software quality management and Cabin Engineering.
Communication & Influence: Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively persuade and manage conflict.
Mindset: A creative team player with an international mindset adaptability and a strong willingness to learn new technologies.
Resilience: Ability to work under pressure mediate and deal with stressful situations constructively.
IT Ecosystem: Familiarity with Windows and/or Unix/Linux ServiceNow and Google Workspace.
