Basic Job Functions:
The Internal Auditor position will be based in the Cincinnati DJJ corporate office. The functions of this role include but are not limited to:
- Performing the internal audit function for Nucor which is heavily focused on evaluating and auditing Nucors internal controls over financial reporting and compliance with Nucor policies
- Performing audits of areas such as inventories revenue recognition accounting procedures capital expenditures accruals etc.
- The successful candidate should be open to relocation for future growth opportunities
- This position includes travel up to 30% of the time
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- Prior audit experience with a national public accounting firm
- No more than 2 years of experience in an internal audit role or relevant accounting experience
