We are looking for a postdocto apply her/his knowledge and creativity in a project that aims to prepare for a practical exploitation of fusion technology this position will offer an excellent opportunity.
You will be able to broaden your knowledge on scientific and technical aspects of magnetic plasma confinement devices (tokamak) and their auxiliary systems for a practical application. You will work with an international team of dedicated experts and contribute to a system that must meet real reliability safety and regulatory constraints.
Responsibilities and qualifications
You will contribute to maintaining the product/system breakdown and interface control documents across the tokamak and its auxiliary systems. The role involves coordinating and performing neutronics and thermo-mechanical analyses supporting isotope-yield target requirements and contributing to regulatory interactions and technical dossiers.
You will also take part in planning and documenting de-risking tests coordinating selected work packages and liaising with partners on target handling and logistics.

Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
The period of employment is 2 years. The start date is 1 January 2026 or after agreement.
