An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Lead within the Defence Naval business based in Bristol.
The Naval Programme Lead will play an important role in ensuring Naval systems are capable of meeting both current and future programmes requirements.

What you will be doing:
You will be directly responsible for the day-to-day Programme Management of Naval systems spanning across MT30 WR21 and Spey engines with the ability to lead projects in time-sensitive scenarios.
The role will have fiscal responsibility for management of revenue margin and cash. While the financial value will vary dependant on where the programme sits in the lifecycle these programmes typically generate annual revenue of 10-20m per programme.
The customer base is centred on shipyards. The Programme Lead will support the Programme Manager and act as the as the Naval Point of Contact for issues impacting multiple customers and provide delivery oversight for a broad range of equipment types; some of which is sourced from overseas
Due to the nature of the challenges this role will involve reporting and escalating to multiple stakeholders within the business and externally requiring robust organistion skills in addition to tact & diplomacy.

The professional level and salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate but is anticipated to be Staff Grade 7-10.
