Reporting to the Director of Information Technology the Information Technology team is seeking a Network Administrator whotakes initiative and is eager to learn new addition to networking responsibilities the Network Administrator provides general IT support to end-users assists with systems administration tasks and helps maintain core IT services across the enterprise. The Network Administrator works closely with IT leadership and support teams to optimize performance safeguard data and support business operations. This is a full-time role based 100% onsite in Medley FL

Responsibilities
Network Administration:
  • Administer monitor and maintain LAN WAN WLAN and VPN connections to ensure availability and performance.
  • Install configure and troubleshoot network hardware (switches routers firewalls wireless controllers etc.) and related software.
  • Manage enterprise circuits and coordinate with telecom/network vendors for provisioning troubleshooting and service-level compliance.
  • Manage network services such as DNS DHCP IP address management and routing protocols.
  • Implement and enforce network security measures including firewalls IDS/IPS NAC and endpoint protection.
  • Monitor network traffic and performance; identify and resolve bottlenecks outages and vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain documentation of network infrastructure configurations diagrams and procedures.
  • Support disaster recovery business continuity and backup strategies.
  • Collaborate with system administrators security engineers and application teams to support enterprise IT initiatives.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to helpdesk and end-users for escalated network issues.
  • Stay current with emerging networking technologies standards and best practices.
IT Support:
  • Installs or assists service personnel in installation of hardware and peripheral components such as monitors keyboards printers and disk drives on users premises.
  • Loads specified software packages such as operating systems word processing or spreadsheet programs into a computer.
  • Enters commands and observes system functions to verify correct system operation.
  • Instructs users in use of equipment software and manuals.
  • Responds to client inquiries concerning systems operation and diagnoses system hardware software and operator problems.
  • Coordinates activities with help desk network services or other information systems groups.
  • Refers major hardware problems to service personnel for correction.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of related experience
  • US & Permanent Residents Only
  • Experience with Cisco / Cisco Meraki Office 365 and maintenance of Microsoft Windows
  • Education: Bachelors degree or combination of school and experience
