QA Engineer

PeopleTec is currently seeking a QA Engineerto support our Huntsville AL location.

PeopleTec is seeking a dedicated QA Engineer to join our Enterprise Software Solutions team where you will establish and lead quality assurance practices across our products. This team a part of PeopleTecs corporate infrastructure develops and delivers custom software solutions that directly support both PeopleTecs internal business units and our external customers.

As part of a rapidly growing team you will help ensure the quality of an expanding portfolio of enterprise applications that are critical to PeopleTecs operations and long-term success. Our solutions span every corner of the businessfrom HR and employee productivity to contract management and business developmentmaking this work both highly impactful and highly visible.

This position offers the opportunity to shape QA processes from the ground up while playing a key role in ensuring the reliability scalability and trustworthiness of applications used daily by PeopleTec employees subcontractors and government personnel. This position is onsite with flexibility for hybrid.

Duties:

• Quality Ownership Lead the design execution and continuous improvement of QA practices across all enterprise applications.
• Test Planning & Execution Develop document and execute test plans test cases and regression suites for new features and existing functionality.
• Automation Engineering Build and maintain automated test frameworks and pipelines to improve coverage and efficiency across client and API layers.
• Defect Management Identify document and track issues through resolution while working closely with developers management and stakeholders to ensure timely fixes.
• Usability & Reliability Ensure applications are tested for performance security scalability and usability to meet the demands of employees subcontractors and government users.
• Process Leadership Establish QA standards recommend tools and introduce best practices to create a sustainable and repeatable QA function.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
• Proven ability to design and execute test plans test cases and regression suites.
• Strong experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium Playwright Cypress or equivalent).
• Solid background testing modern web applications and APIs
• Proven experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Azure DevOps GitHub or comparable) with integration of automated testing into delivery workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in complex environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Education Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience).
