Job Summary

Network Technician
Columbia South Carolina (Hybrid)

Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in information technology systems Computer Science or a related field. Equivalent relevant experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis
5 years of experience with data network services and data communications (LAN cabling switches APs etc.).
5 years of experience in data network design and configuration.
5 years of experience with office automation systems fiber optics and microcomputer hardware/software.
Public sector or government project experience required
Knowledge of computer system analysis design testing debugging and maintenance techniques.
Ability to present technical and non-technical reports clearly and concisely.

Preferred Skills:

5 years of experience with advanced network configuration and protocols.
5 years of experience in cable management patch panels and telecom/network closet troubleshooting.
5 years of experience with wireless infrastructure cloud networking (SD-WAN Azure) and VoIP technologies.
Ability to produce clear comprehensive documentation of configurations procedures and incident logs.
