POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for receiving storing controlling and distributing supplies and equipment to all department in the hospital.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive incoming supplies and equipment
- Inputs receipts into the Materials Management system
- Assist in resolving any invoices discrepancies related to receiving
- Distributes supplies and equipment as needed to all department in the hospital
- Assist in controlling access to warehouse by assisting walk-in customers
- Assist with receiving and asset tagging capital equipment
- Accurately maintains asset log
- Delivers incoming tagged equipment to Clinical Engineering for safety inspection
- Acts as back up to Mailroom/Equipment Tech when needed
- Maintains fork lift certification
- Performs safety inspection on fork lift prior to use
- Maintains and replenishes crash carts
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse and loading dock on a daily basis
- Assist with physical inventory when requested
- Assist with checking for expired products and rotating stock
- Other duties as assigned.
