Regulatory Junior Manager
Based inBudapest
Purpose of the role
Support the management of Wizz Air Groups regulatory affairs and traffic rights portfolio. Contribute to the companys expansion into new regulation-sensitive markets by assisting in securing necessary operating permissions and maintaining compliance with aviation authorities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating efforts to obtain market access in new countries and jurisdictions under the guidance of senior team members
- Support the administration and tracking of the Groups traffic rights including applications for designations extra-bilateral rights and other regulatory approvals
- Manage the Foreign Airline Registration process for entering new countries
- Secure seasonal route permits and conduct revisions as needed
- Participate in initiatives to improve and streamline traffic rights processes including automation and documentation enhancements
- Collaborate with Commercial teams to align regulatory activities with Wizz Airs strategic directions
- Support the development and maintenance of professional relationships with aviation regulators and Civil Aviation Authorities across the network
Experience
1-3 years overall working experience preferably in Commercial or Operational areas of an airline
Hard skills
Good understanding of aviation regulatory landscape and traffic rights
Education
Bachelors or Masters degree
Language
Fluent spoken and written English

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good oral and written presentation skills
- Business mindset and ability to synthesize information into recommendations
- Teamwork and strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to travel as required away from Head Office
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to live and work in Budapest Hungary
