Job Summary
This is a Community Service Work Study student employment position. Applicants must have Federal Work Study funds in their Financial Aid package. The school social work intern will work hand in hand with the school social worker. They will identify learning targets based on the students classroom standards and professional social work competencies. They will meet with the school social worker a minimum of 1 time per month for 1 hour for supervision. Location : César Chávez K-8 School
Minimum Qualifications
Must have Federal Work Study fund in Financial Aid Package (contact with questions) Student must remain in good academic standing. Student must remain consistent with their schedule and attendance to create predictability within the school 10-11 hrs per week while school is in session
Preferred Qualifications
Student who can work independently Student who is developing a lens of equity and social justice Student who is studying social work
