M-F 8AM-5PM Some flexibility to meet client needs as availability to meet clients may be outside of 8AM-5PM window

What you bring to SBHG:
Masters degree in child counseling development or psychology social services or vocational counseling or related social science field required
Licensed as AMFT ACSW or APCC required.
Valid California Drivers License required
Bilingual in Spanish a plus
Students currently enrolled in a Masters program and seeking a practicum site and who want to gain hands-on experience in a supportive mental health outpatient/community based setting are encouraged to apply
How you will make a difference:
Conducts initial and ongoing assessments of the youth and family to identify strengths and needs to include diagnosing clients with emotional disturbances.
Uses a whatever it takes approach to provide services in various settings including homes schools community and office settings. Uses personal vehicle to drive to and from offsite locations to provide services.
Provides direct care services including individual group and family therapy. Also provides case management and collateral services to clients and their families as deemed necessary and appropriate through the assessment/plan of care process and in collaboration with the Child and Family team.
Provides crisis intervention to youth and families as needed. Part of an after-hours crisis support on-call rotation.
Documents all services provided in a clear and concise manner within the Electronic Health Record within the timelines and framework established by Central Star
