Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Content Designer for the World of Warcraft team. As a designer on our team you are responsible for advocating for design decisions and executing your designs from concept to completion. As a collaborator you understand the importance of communication and feedback.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in game design a strong aptitude for critical thinking and analysis outstanding people skills boundless creativity a strong visual aesthetic and a passion for playing and analyzing games.

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The home studio for this role is in Irvine CA.

What you bring to the table:

• Driving vision of new features in collaboration with partners.
• Designing features systems and mechanics from concept to completion.
• Creating fun and engaging content and game loops.
• Playtesting sharing and accepting feedback.

Minimum Requirements

• 8 years of game design experience or a portfolio demonstrating equivalent experience.
• Ability to design and implement content from concept to completion.
• Ability to maintain and communicate a clear vision from pitch to ship.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately your specific range and offer will be based on several factors including relevant experience performance and work location.
