MANUFACTURING SPECIALIST MACHINING
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute the production assembly and integration of complex machined parts in amulti-axis machine shop
- Resolve analyze and solve manufacturing discrepancies while interfacing with the quality team (resolving issues for design fabrication and assembly)
- Fully develop and implement future state production systems for all products
- Set up and operate multi-axis CNC Mills up to 5-axis
- Inspect parts using hand tools to verify dimensions
- Complete machining operations from blueprints drawings and/or verbal instructions
- Work with complex tight-tolerance parts and various materials
- Meet expectations for productivity
- Communicate with shop leadership when production is inhibited
- Continuously provide feedback for process improvements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate and 5 years of professional experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment; OR bachelors degree in an engineering math or science discipline
- 5 years of experience in amanufacturing environment with 5-axis milling
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with Siemens Controller / Okuma Controller / On-Machine Touch Probe
- CAD experience (NX & Teamcenter a plus)
- Strong understanding of NC programming CMM programming PLC programming
- Experience with capacity modeling process mapping and fault analysis
- Pareto analysis root cause and corrective action experience
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) experience
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be open to work either shift overtime and/or weekends as needed
- Ability to work the following shift options:
- 1st Shift (Monday - Friday: 4am-2:30pm)
- 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday: 3:30pm-2am)
- Standing for long periods of time climbing up and down ladders bending grasping sitting pulling pushing stooping and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
- Able to lift up to 25lbs. unassisted

Pay range:
Manufacturing Specialist/Level 4: $43.00 - $52.00/hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills education and experience.
