Behavior Analyst - 10 Months

As a behavior analyst at Special School District (SSD) you will play a key role in supporting students across St. Louis County through the principles of applied behavior analysis. Using data-informed assessments you will design implement and supervise behavior support plans that help students build meaningful skills access their education and experience success in a variety of learning environments.

You will collaborate closely with educators families and support teams to ensure consistent implementation and lasting addition to student-centered work you will contribute to building staff capacity through coaching modeling and consultation. Your expertise will help foster inclusive supportive classrooms where all students are empowered to thrive.

BCBAs work during school hours Monday through Friday. The start and end times may vary depending on the building assignment. Occasional work after school hours may be required. We are currently seeking assistants to serve students in these locations:

  • Districtwide
  • Ferguson-Florissant School District
  • Southview School Special School District

Salary

  • BCaBA: $49000 minimum to $69494 maximum based on experience and education
  • BCBA: $55635 minimum to $83250 maximum based on experience and education

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in special education behavior analysis or a related field required
  • Masters Degree in special education behavior analysis or a related field preferred
  • Specific experience in behavioral and instructional strategies training related to working with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health diagnoses preferred.

Certificates Licenses Registrations

  • License issued by the Division of Professional Registration.(LBA) preferred
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCABA) required
