Position Description:
The OCOM preclinical curriculum consists of a clinical framework for the integration and application of the sciences that are foundational to understanding clinical problems. The curriculum is designed to enhance long-term memory through application repetition and recall. As a result students will become self-directed life-long learners that are adept at critical thinking skills.
Please note that this is not a traditional teaching position. The curriculum features principles of self-directed and active learning modalities including spaced and spiraled learning. This is not a clinical position or related to third and fourth year clinical rotations.
Labs occur on on Tuesday morning (8 am -12 pm) and Thursday Morning (8 am -12 pm) for OMS-I and Tuesday afternoon (1 pm -5 pm) and Friday morning (8 am -12 pm) for OMS-II. A commitment of 5 hours for each session is required. Training is provided.

The OCOM Lab Facilitator is an independent contractor (1099) working as a facilitator in CBL clinical skills OSCE and simulation courses.
