Based on the specific needs of the department at the time of appointment a successful applicant must be qualified to teach introductory and/or upper-level courses in the required subject area. Some examples of possible courses: ARH 311 African-American Art ARH 330 Latin American Art ARH 340 Islamic Art ARH 350 African-Oceanic Art ARH 308 Modern Art ARH 310 Contemporary Art The location for these temporary positions varies with the expectation of serving a multi-campus University within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.
