Were looking for a Specialist to join the Content Partnerships team at Snap Inc!
What Youll Do
Curate and elevate a mix of hard news creator content and viral trends from major headlines to micro-moments
Assist with editorial programming across Snapchats key surfaces Stories Spotlight and beyond with a sharp eye for whats timely relevant and deeply engaging for our audience.
Review and audit lots of videos and creator profiles for policy compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Content Ops Product Policy Trust & Safety and Data Science) to optimize content visibility and performance
Make editorial calls in real time balancing speed accuracy and creativity
Use data and audience signals to evolve strategy and inform future programming
Design and deliver impactful training decks and presentation materials
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Strong editorial judgment you know whats credible whats clicky and what is good content
High tolerance for looking through large amounts of videos and creators to provide editorial feedback to cross-functional teams
Deep fluency in internet culture trends meme cycles and creator dynamics
Experience working with UGC creators and publishers with a clear sense of what resonates with Gen Z and our Snap audience
Comfort operating in a fast-paced reactive editorial environment
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative curious mindset
Ability to work independently with some guidance and think critically and ahead
Minimum Qualifications:
2 years experience in news digital media editorial or platform content roles
Bachelors degree
Preferred qualification:
Newsroom or breaking news experience a major plus

Compensation
In the United States work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidates starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills experience qualifications work location and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this position is $89000-$133000 annually.This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
