Job Description: This 8 month full-time position will work November 1 2025 through June 30 2026. The licensed staff therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive direct and indirect clinical services to Arcadia Universitys undergraduate and graduate student population. Services include: individual group AOD assessments crisis counseling consulation referral assistance and outreach programming. The licensed staff therapist position requires a demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse population of clients presenting with a broad range of clinical needs with expertise and experience providing services to individuals from historically marginalized backgrounds. This candidate will also demonstrate sensitivity and knowledge about diversity equity and inclusion and embrace opportunities for continued growth in cultural competence.

Responsibilities:
- Provides short-term individual and group counseling and clinical evaluation with a specialization in working with young adults and college students including those from underrepresented identities.(i.e. BIPOC and LGBTQIA).
- Provides and develops outreach programming education and trainings on various mental health/wellness topics to the university community and facilitates student leader trainings.
- Participates in daytime on-call rotation and assists students who are in crisis and present to the center as high-risk.
- Provides consultation to faculty staff family and other members of the university community and consults with off-campus providers as appropriate to effectively refer students off-campus when they need a higher level of care.
- Manages clinical documentation on confidential software program and completes timely record keeping.
- Participates in clinical group supervision with trainees Counseling Services staff meetings and individual clinical supervision.
- Provides clinical supervision and serves as primary supervisor for a graduate student intern.
Marginal Functions:
- Attends Campus Life Meetings serves on committees and attends university wide events representing Counseling Services.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- PA license in their field of study (social work counseling psychology);also licensed to practice in Delaware preferred.
- Minimum of a Masters Degree in Counseling Social work or related field.
- Eligible to provide clinical supervision to counseling interns/trainees.
- Prior college/university counseling experience is preferred.
Other Requirements:
- May be asked to work some evening hours.
