Over the course of 18 to 20 months the Trainee program combines a series of three six-month rotational assignments in various business units including Transportation Operations Construction Management Emergency Services Finance Commercial Development Engineering and Mechanical Operations with the purpose of preparing the individual for a position within the organization that best matches the individuals strengths with the organizations needs.
A successful management trainee will be offered a position within the company once the program has been completed. The hands-on nature of this program will require that trainees receive field operational assignments at various locations throughout the organization travel is required often with little notice.
Job Requirements:
- An undergraduate degree is preferred preferably in finance business engineering or a related course of study.
- Willingness to travel extensively on assignments to company locations up to 75% of the time.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- A valid drivers license is required and knowledge of biohazardous material handling or other labor-based certifications is a plus.
- Candidates with knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or experience with other process improvement methodologies as well as those with any industrial and/or safety certifications are strongly encouraged to apply.
