Job Summary
Position Title:
Postdoctoral Research Associate Veterinary MedicineAppointment Type:
Post Doc/TraineeJob Description:
Lead an applied research project focused on animal production and welfare in the beef cattle feed opportunity will combine science and extension to improve farm performance.
Collaborate on meaningful projects related to beef cattle health management and animal welfare
Design and carry out field studies including overnight travel to farms for data collection
Create science-based extension materials for farm workers and managers
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Applied Ethology or Animal Welfare Science
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with data analysis
Demonstrated experience writing and submitting publications to peer-reviewed journals
Demonstrated experience with grant writing
