Collaborate on meaningful projects related to beef cattle health management and animal welfare
Design and carry out field studies including overnight travel to farms for data collection
Create science-based extension materials for farm workers and managers
Ph.D. in Applied Ethology or Animal Welfare Science
Experience with data analysis
Demonstrated experience writing and submitting publications to peer-reviewed journals
Demonstrated experience with grant writing
