Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) LDRP
Location: Allen TX
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
Shift: 3x12-Hour Day Shifts
Pay Rate: $2241 Weekly Gross
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Labor Delivery Recovery and Postpartum (LDRP) unit at a reputable healthcare facility in Allen TX. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical expertise critical thinking skills and a commitment to providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth experience.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor delivery recovery and postpartum stages.
Monitor fetal and maternal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
Administer medications and assist with pain management techniques as prescribed.
Support physicians and midwives during deliveries and surgical procedures when necessary.
Educate and support patients and their families regarding newborn care and postpartum recovery.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience.
Certifications (Required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
AWHONN (Intermediate or Advanced)
