Work Hours: Monday Friday 6:30 AM 4:00 PM 30 minute lunch

Friday 6:30 AM 12:00 PM 30 minute lunch

Summary of Position:

The Warehouse Driver delivers equipment and materials including vendor deliveries jobsite returns and scheduled pickups.

Essential Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Assist the Warehouse Team Lead (WTL) with routine inspections of all department vehicles and tools for signs of wear and tear.
• Perform hands-on movement of materials including managing incoming and outgoing deliveries and loading/unloading vehicles.
• Participate in scheduled warehouse inventoriesmonthly quarterly and annually.

• Conduct weekly spot checks to assess inventory levels and identify replenishment needs.
• Deliver materials to project sites as needed.
• Provide support at job sites when required.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks such as trash removal unloading and disposing of returned materials yard cleaning and mowing.
• Accurately label and identify all incoming materials by project.
• Follow established procedures for monitoring all materials brought into the warehouse for inventory tracking.
• Adhere to systems for tracking materials removed from the warehouse for inventory and job costing purposes.
• Comply with processes for scheduling and tracking incoming deliveries verifying packing slips forwarding documentation to accounting and updating the Ordered Materials/Equipment Sheet.
• Follow procedures for scheduling and tracking all outgoing job deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of specialized tools and equipment checked out to field personnel.
• Interact respectfully and courteously with coworkers at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Must adhere to and participate in the company safety program.
• Be aware of OSHA safety requirements and enforce in all areas.
• This position requires a high-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook.
• Excellent forklift skills and forklift license are
• Possess a clean valid NC Class C Drivers License.
• Ability to work 40 - 45 hours a week.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform additional physical activities that require considerable use of limbs and appendages such as climbing lifting reaching above shoulders balancing walking stooping and kneeling. Ability to lift move and handle 80 lbs. tools or materials. Environmental conditions range from outdoors at all times of the year to indoors at normal office conditions to indoor tempered warehouse areas.

Compensation Range:Hourly wage based on experience.
