DescriptionMayo Clinic Arizona is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our collaborative Hematology team consisting of 57 physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers. This full-time position focuses on the care of patients with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) and Lymphoma within a multidisciplinary patient-centered environment that emphasizes innovation teamwork and clinical excellence.
Position Overview
- Provide direct patient care in outpatient hematology clinics with a focus on CLL and Lymphoma.
- Collaborate with physicians APPs nurses and support staff to deliver coordinated evidence-based care.
- Participate in treatment planning follow-up care and patient education.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical research opportunities.
During the selection process you may participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience. During the OnDemand interview a question will appear on your screen and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. QualificationsNurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current AZ RN and APRN license and certification as a FNP or ANP.
Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the AZ State Board of Medical Practice.
Additional Qualifications:
- Hematology experience preferred (RN exp in Hematology or PA with some degree of Hematology exp)
- Active BLS and ACLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration required
