The Adult Education Instructor will teach adult basic education subjects (Language Social Studies Mathematics Science History and other subjects) to students preparing for the GED. Prepares students for their High School Diploma (ALSDE requirements must be met) and prepares students for the ACT WorkKeys assessment. All duties are performed under the direct supervision of the Adult Education Director and the Dean of Instruction. Listed below are the primary responsibilities for the position; however other professional duties may be assigned by the Director of Adult Education or his/her designee to meet the Colleges needs.
A bachelors degree from a regionally accredited college or university is required.
A masters degree from a regionally accredited college or university is preferred.

Salary Range: Salary will be determined by placement on the appropriate Alabama Community College System-approved salary schedule. D3 $31289 - $52194 for a nine-month contract; summer employment may be available dependent on enrollment. D3 $10430 - $ 17397 for a three-month contract.
