Job Summary
Drill Operator
Rate: Open
Hours: 7am-3pm
Cincinnati OH

Responsibilities:
- Sets up and operates manual drilling machines (such as radial drills) to create holes in materials like metal plastics or rock following blueprints and precise measurements.
- Using measuring tools operating equipment safely performing routine maintenance and using personal protective equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand required dimensions and specifications for each job.
- Perform layout work marking positions for holes and use various measuring instruments (calipers micrometers dial indicators) to verify dimensions.
- Clean and prepare work surfaces sometimes using grinders to remove slag or other materials.
Requirements:
- Hands-on detail-oriented requiring mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with heavy machinery and materials
- Read blueprints
- Experience with measuring tools
- Routine maintenance experience
