Job Summary
Amazon Leo is Amazons low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. Key job responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of equipment maintenance professionals fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Implement and oversee enterprise-wide maintenance management policies and mechanisms
- Spearhead the implementation and optimization of a multi-site Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize asset reliability and longevity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of equipment maintenance activities with operational goals
- Analyze maintenance data and key performance indicators to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimize equipment maintenance operations
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 5 years of management experience
- Experience hiring developing and managing high-performing technical teams
- 10 years of experience in equipment maintenance management
- Proven track record of implementing enterprise-wide maintenance management policies and mechanisms
- Extensive experience with CMMS software implementation and optimization
- Masters degree in Engineering or Business Administration or a related field
- Experience within a distribution center logistics or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and process improvement methodologies
- Professional certifications such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)
- Familiarity with Amazons operations and culture

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $292700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
