SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Posts all cash receipts to customer accounts timely and accurately
- Monitors sales accruals for reasonability
- Maintains up-to-date invoicing system
- Monitors customer accounts for non payments delayed payments and other irregularities
- Primary collection responsibility if payment is past due
- Researches payment settlement differences and advises managers/traders of discrepancies for their approval
- Set up new customer files with attention to SA policy requirements
- Maintains thorough and well-organized customer files
- Prepares bank deposits as needed
- Investigates and resolves customer queries
- Processes sales shipment cancellations and reversals in SAI when required
- Performs other accounting duties as requested.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in MS Excel and Word
- Preferred prior experience in Accounts Receivable
- Customer service focus
- Detail oriented
- Team player
- Readily adapts to changing environments and systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Employees in this position prior to April 2014 are presumed to be qualified and are grandfathered into their positions
- Must pass a medical physical and drug test
- Must pass a background checkand credit check
- Preferred high school diploma or GED and/or foreign education acceptable
- Some college one year or more preferred
- Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) language skills a plus
- Ability to: communicate with others effectively; understand direction (written or oral) and use basic math skills as the job demands
- A basic understanding of MS Office products

- Sensory Demands: Hearing vision touch and taste
- Hand Movements: Repetitive motions gripping keyboard alignment
Location
SA Recycling HQ in Orange CA
- Hybrid available for local applicants
- 3 days in-office
- 6 months of initial in-person training required
- Remote available for non-local candidates
- Must have strong qualifications to be considered
- Must be willing to travel to HQ for in-person training and other events as needed (amount of time is TBA)
Pay: $25/hr DOE
