Job Summary
The OCI Platform Integration (PINT) team part of the Enterprise Engineering Services Organization specializes in developing and operating tools for OCI cloud lab environments which serve as critical pre-production spaces for integrating and validating cloud services. Labs likePINT Lab is required for testing OCI Services and SKU validation. Along with Labs likeAlloy Lab enable Oracle Partners to manage customers independently using OCI infrastructure.
As a IC3 Developer you will leverage your programming skills to set up configure customize validate and automate aspects of the Validation Service PINT Lab security compliance and related environments. You will apply computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills to handle complex technical challenges. A typical day may involve coding new features executing configurations troubleshooting lab issues and collaborating with engineers and managers to achieve shared goals.
We welcome candidates eager to learn Oracle cloud technologies. Experience with cloud infrastructure software development frameworks (e.g. JavaSpringBotReactMicronautpythonNodeJS) Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)containerization & Orchestration( DockerKubernates and Helm)and customer-centric problem-solving is advantageous.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Support sprint releases in OCI realms using Terraform code to coordinate deployments and monitor systems.
- Manage canary deployments across all Global Supply Integration (GSI) order flows applying progressive rollout strategies resolving issues and optimizing performance to minimize risks.
- Develop Chatbot AI projects including designing conversational flows integrating AI algorithms and natural language processing (NLP) and enhancing OCI tools.
- Automate processes using Java and Python scripting.
- Utilize experience with Kubernetes and Terraform in project work.
- Conduct testing debugging and ongoing maintenance of chatbot applications deployment processes and PINT Lab environments to ensure accuracy efficiency and alignment with project roadmaps.
- Analyze architecture design and implementation of existing products to enhance scalability performance extensibility and security.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs implement AI models monitor interactions for continuous improvement and communicate effectively with geographically diverse teams.
- Participate in on-call rotations for incident response bug fixes system reliability failover disaster recovery and PINT Lab support operating independently as needed.
- Handle system integration scalability networks security load balancing databases Oracle Integration Service and other related technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Good Understanding inJava with hands-on experience developing RESTful microservices using frameworks such asMicronautandSpring Boot. Additional familiarity with languages such asPythonand
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):Basic understanding in automating infrastructure provisioning and environment setup usingTerraform.
- Containerization & Orchestration:Good knowledge withDockerfor containerizing applications and knowledgeable in managing deployments withKubernetes(includingOKE or other platforms).
- Cloud Platforms:Certified toOracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)or other major cloud providers (AWSAzureGCP) covering compute networking and developer tool services.
- CI/CD Pipelines:Good understanding of continuous integration and deployment practices leveraging tools such asGitHub ActionsJenkins andOCI DevOps.
- AI and Generative AI Concepts:Foundational awareness ofAI/MLandGenerative AItechnologies their typical use cases and methods for integrating these technologies with backend services.
- Frontend: Working experience on frontend technologies like HTMLCSSReact Framework.
Required qualifications
- BA/BS or higher degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
- 6 years of professional experience designing implementing testing releasing and maintaining software applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python or shell scripting for automation projects.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Oracle Database Oracle Fusion Applications Oracle Integration Service and multi-tiered architectures (e.g. Linux OS databases load balancers authentication services and networks).
- Experience with system integration failover disaster recovery Selenium framework API-based integrations microservices architectures basic networks security concepts and tools such as APEX JavaScript Terraform XML JSON REST and SNMP Protocol.
- This role is critical for maintaining project roadmaps and delivery timelines. Its absence could delay key releases stall AI enhancements compromise on-call schedules and increase the risk of outages or team burnout.
