Job Summary
The incumbent is an employee whose responsibility is communicating with guests and supporting both servers and kitchen staff. This role is crucial in making a servers shortfalls and makes the difference between a great experience and a poor one in the restaurant floor. The Food Runner assist waiters and waitresses in running food from the kitchen to customer tables they are the link between FOH and BOH. The incumbent has to perform to ensure guest satisfaction with the high standard of service. He/ she must undertake full responsibility in assisting in all aspects of brand standards hygiene and safety practices development in line with IBN AL BAHR specific policies and procedures whilst enhancing the brand image of the business. Incumbent should be able to give the best customer experience as per company standards.
Qualifications :
- Experience in full-service restaurant is desired
- Has clear understanding of requirements from the HACCP and Food Safety Regulations
- Basic knowledge of food and beverages
- Must be on their feet for long periods of time
- Team player
- Effective communication skills with guests and staff
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure be professional efficient and courteous
- Flexible schedule
- Task-driven individual
- Know hows on basic food hygiene
- Able to communicate in English and any other language is an added advantage
