Job Summary

Job title: EMS Data Modeler

Location: Remote

Experience level: 8Years

Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering (Power Systems preferred).

Required Skills : Strong knowledge of Power System Modeling and Analysis (Transmission & Distribution).

Hands-on experience with EMS tools (e.g. GE Grid Solutions Siemens Spectrum Power OSI Monarch ABB Network Manager).

Familiarity with SCADA data network topology and real-time operations.

Knowledge of CIM/CGMES standards PI Historian and data integration techniques.

Proficiency in SQL Python or scripting tools for data validation and automation (nice to have).

Domain Knowledge: Understanding of State Estimation Load Flow Contingency Analysis and Network Security Analysis.

Awareness of Transmission System Operations Reliability Standards (NERC FERC) and Grid Codes.
