Job Summary
Description
Provides psychosocial assessments diagnosis and treatment as well as discharge planning to and consultation about patients and families to assist them and the health care team in coping with patients hospitalization illness diagnosis treatment and/or life situation including emotional mental and substance abuse disorders. Functions in a supervisory role as a team leader.
Requirements
Day Shift; Part time 24 to 32 hours per week; 5 x 8s; Rotating Days; 8am to 4:30pm. Masters in Social Work required; 1 year hospital experience preferred but not required.
Education and Work Experience:
- Masters Degree in social work: Required
- One year experience in an acute or long term medical setting: Required
- Two years experience in an acute or long term medical setting: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in state of practice: Required
