In this role you will work closely with our development teams to ensure their IT needs are effectively supported and aligned with company guidelines. You will provide technical support for our studio teams and be responsible for maintaining the infrastructure that enables our developers to define design and deliver high-quality gaming experiences to millions of players and fans around the world.
Responsibilities:
- End user support (Hardware/Application/OS);
- Supporting our global administrators in diagnosing and troubleshooting local studio issues and making suggestions where necessary;
- Hardware/Licensing Management and Inventory;
- IT related purchasing;
- Server rack management such as patch cabling or racking servers;
- New user deployment;
- Create scripts documentation and other improvements which positively impacts the studios efficiency;
- Collaborate with the teams to plan and implement recommended technology based solutions where needed.
Qualifications :
- Experience with Windows 10/11 and macOS administration;
- Experience in configuring and troubleshooting email clients such as Mozilla Thunderbird and Microsoft Outlook;
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS and DHCP;
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory user and computer management (Ability to manage user accounts permissions and access rights);
- Basic knowledge of hardware diagnostics peripheral setup and driver installation
- Understanding of remote access tools (e.g. RDP VNC);
- Experience supporting development teams or knowledge of development environments especially iOS & Android;
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell shell or python) and task automation;
- Experience with Atlassian Confluence and JIRA;
- Experience with Linux;
- Ability to effectively balance multiple projects conflicting priorities and at times a substantial workload requiring out of hours attention;
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple problems and issues with minimal supervision and excellent organizational skills;
- Self-motivated demonstrates initiative flexibility and maturity under pressure and anticipates and resolves problems before they develop;
- Passionate about games and technology - with a forward-thinking approach;
- English level: Intermediate (able to communicate with international users and understand technical documentation).
