This is a permanent part-time position with the following hours of work:
- Friday & Saturday: 4pm to 12:30am
Were seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security cameras
- Maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor
- Interact with customers and address their concerns
- Upload events onto our crime reporting platform.
Qualifications :
He kōrero mōu ake - About you
Experience in a customer-facing role such as retail or hospitality would be beneficial but is not required. Ideally you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods.
Additionally experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation along with the ability to stay calm under pressure would be beneficial.
