Senior Project Manager Data Center

We are seeking a highly skilled (Senior) Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Amsterdam.

• Manage overall project cost schedule and budgets for data center construction projects
• Oversee the implementation of MEP (Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing) systems to ensure compliance with project specifications codes and standards
• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders including clients contractors and team members
• Analyze track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to prevent schedule delays
• Participate in the tendering and procurement process ensuring contract terms align with FIDIC standards
• Review and approve cost-loaded schedules and capital expenditure spends
• Lead client meetings and other project-related gatherings
• Identify factors influencing construction costs and monitor project financial performance
• Provide clear and accurate reporting on a regular basis
• Manage risk and mitigation management including cost assessments of such
• Support engineering decisions related to project cost and budget during design-build changes
• Coordinate and oversee scheduling consultant reviews on the project
• Advocate on behalf of the client during disputes modifications or change orders
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations

Qualifications :

• University degree in Construction Management or a related field
• Several years of experience as a Project Manager for major construction projects with specific experience in data center construction
• Proven experience in MEP (Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing) related tasks
• Advanced skills in spreadsheets report writing and presentations
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively
• Team-oriented attitude self-motivation and willingness to support other groups and projects
• Entrepreneurial thinking creativity and dynamism
• Knowledge of FIDIC standards and experience with construction cost management
• Familiarity with project scheduling cost estimation and budgeting processes
• Understanding of data center infrastructure and design principles
• Experience with project management software and tools
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
• Fluent English language skills; Dutch language skills preferred
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and goal-oriented approach
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment
