Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a bright and highly motivated Senior Project Manager for employment in our New York NY office.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects with a focus on healthcare facility construction.
- Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless execution of projects.
- Consistently delivers profit margins planned and optimizes project financial performance.
- Consistently completes projects without write-downs or multiplier erosion.
- Typically manages projects involving RTF (Risk Triggering Factors) and develops strategies to mitigate risks.
- Manages complex clients and projects particularly in active healthcare facilities.
- Has decision-making authority and directs other Project Managers in recognizing risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate and eliminate such.
- Directs staff to operate and minimize exposure to claims.
- Supervises and directs Project Managers with multiple projects or program of projects.
- Develops and implements project management methodologies and best practices across the organization.
- Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in healthcare facility construction.
- Coordinates with various stakeholders including healthcare professionals to minimize disruptions to ongoing operations during construction.
- Leads contract negotiations and manages client relationships to secure future projects.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS plus eight years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with healthcare facility construction.
- Experience working in active facilities.
- Experience with management and oversight of field activities management of field staff coordination with contractors. Must also be strong with administrative management and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
