The Role: FP&A Analyst
This is a high-impact opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to launch their FP&A career within a globally integrated finance function. As FP&A Analyst youll gain hands-on exposure to multi-currency reporting contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes and collaborate directly with business leaders. The role has a clear progression path to Senior FP&A Analyst within 12-18 months offering long-term career growth and learning in a dynamic mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
- 1-3 years of experience in finance or FP&A functions required
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across the group
- Support board pack preparation and management reporting
- Maintain and manage Power BI dashboards for business insights
- Develop financial models across P&L cash flow and balance sheet
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decisions
- Identify and implement reporting process improvements and automation
- Partner with non-finance and commercial teams to explain financials and influence decisions
About You
- 1-3 years of experience in FP&A or financial roles
- Newly qualified accountant (ACCA CIMA CA(SA) CPA or equivalent)
- Proficient in budgeting forecasting and variance analysis
- Strong knowledge of financial statements and Excel modelling
- Experience using Power BI or other BI tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication able to present to senior leadership
- Confident working with international businesses and stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a drive for automation and process improvement
- Based in Cape Town available on short notice and comfortable working UK hours (no accent requirement)
